October 17 Guitar Clinic Details

by Griff

I’m getting together with my good friend Bob Murnahan for an afternoon of tunes and Q & A with any of you aspiring guitar players out there.

Bob and his family are coming out from Sedona, Arizona, and on bass we’ll have Mark Smith with Chris Atchley on drums.

This is not a jam session, we’re going to take questions and talk about guitar “stuff” but we really don’t have the facility to actually have a jam session and let everyone come up and play… maybe next time.

It’s going to be Saturday, October 17th, from 1:00PM-4:00PM at Java Joe’s in Yorba Linda. Java Joe’s is at 4975 Yorba Ranch Road, Yorba Linda, CA 92887 (714) 970-7988.

We are recording the whole thing both audio and video. Don’t know what will come of it, but we’re at least going to try and get it for posterity.

Hope you can make it out, I think we’re gonna have a great time :)

Hi Griff
Same here I’m afraid — Australia is half a world away – about 16 hours in the air from Sydney to LA.
We hope to be in the US again next year so maybe you will have something on then that I could come to.
Thanks for all your lessons & tips.

Thanks Griff, I’ve already set that day aside so count me in. I’m looking forward to it. By the way, how does a guy with finger tips that span three strings fret anything except a classical guitar? I know there are well known guitarists that also have neanderthal fingers like mine. How do they do it?
