Friday, like tomorrow, I get to play a bunch of self-indulgent blues (meaning I get to play as many notes as I want to) with Mark Smith on bass and Dave Goode on drums.

If you don’t already know, this is the original trio that recorded my first CD. We’re going to start about 7:00 ish and play until we’re done or you get tired of us. Probably around 9:30-10:00PM.

It’s weird for me, being in a band that people actually want to come see…..

Just kidding, sort of. Anyway, it appears that everyone’s (at least everyone I know) favorite cornucopia of tunes, Yard Sale, is playing at Java Joe’s tomorrow night.

Our band “Yard Sale” will be performing on Saturday, January 12th at Java Joe’s in Yorba Linda.

This is a cool little coffee shop/wine bar we found and the owner is a really nice guy.

We’ll do some blues, some rock, some funk, a veritable cornucopia of songs. We’ll start around 8:00 and finish around 11:00.

Oh, and there’s no age limit so bring the kids and hang with us! Our kids will the ones playing Spongebob Monopoly…

We’ll have the video camera running for putting our mugs up on youtube, so if you want to be captured for posterity, you’d better be there.
