But – MOST importantly – come celebrate the birth of Chris’ beautiful little girl – Ella Joy Atchley! Born on March 2nd. Believe it or not, Chris delivered the baby himself in the driveway of his own home! They never made it to the hospital, and paramedics arrived after she did! Stop by and hear all the details from the proud new daddy! (Ella joins big brother Ethan). Wife Andrea and baby Ella are home and doing well.

They’re as unique as their name and you won’t want to miss it. Open up the attached flier for pics and more information. I’m getting together with my good friend Bob Murnahan for an afternoon of tunes and Q & A with any of you aspiring guitar players out there.
Bob and his family are coming out from Sedona, Arizona, and on bass we’ll have Mark Smith with Chris Atchley on drums.
This is not a jam session, we’re going to take questions and talk about guitar “stuff” but we really don’t have the facility to actually have a jam session and let everyone come up and play… maybe next time.

Sorry I haven’t posted anything in pretty much forever. I’ve been busy with my instructional sites at http://bluesguitarunleashed.com and http://startplayingbluesguitar.com.
I’ll make it a point to do more stuff here too.
We had such a blast last friday. Hopefully we’ll do it again.
I did take a video camera and today I created a YouTube channel at http://youtube.com/ghbgriff3. I uploaded 14 videos (all that I got) from friday. The sound is just okay, my laptop couldn’t keep up with the multichannel recording so I had to settle for the camera audio. Maybe next time….
or something like that.
Friday, like tomorrow, I get to play a bunch of self-indulgent blues (meaning I get to play as many notes as I want to) with Mark Smith on bass and Dave Goode on drums.
If you don’t already know, this is the original trio that recorded my first CD. We’re going to start about 7:00 ish and play until we’re done or you get tired of us. Probably around 9:30-10:00PM.
